Depuis quelques mois, certains diraient années voire décennies, un mot que l’on a longtemps cru obsolète, en tout cas dans le Premier Monde, a refait surface avec vigueur dans l’actualité des pays dits développés : celui de pénurie.

Pénurie de céréales, pénurie de pâtes, pénurie de chocolat, pénurie de papier toilette, pénurie de papier tout court (mais pas de carton, hein, merci les livraisons instantanées), mais aussi pénurie de semi-conducteurs, pénurie de conteneurs maritimes, ou même de munitions, en attendant les pénuries de métaux, de terres rares (comme leur nom l’indique), de terres cultivables, de pollinisateurs, d’essence, d’énergie, d’eau et qui sait, un jour, d’air respirable.

Dans ce deuxième épisode de Planète B, l’émission mensuelle de science-fiction et d’imaginaire de Blast, on se demande : De quoi la pénurie est-elle le nom ? Surtout, on va questionner nos genres favoris pour voir un peu ce qu’ils ont à nous dire sur le sujet.
